La Quinta Inn & Suites Milwaukee SW New Berlin

So I travel quite a bit for my work. I am a "younger" (27) guy, but my company (Costco) sends me all across the country to help train new employees and staff. Everyone I dealt with here was a PLEASURE except for ONE older man overnights. He was always ESPECIALLY bitter with his comments and looks, even when I just asked him to make another room key for me (granted I had lost my key while busy at work again) but all I could think was "ITS JUST A KEY!!!" I know its frustrating to have to make another room key and to be bothered but this is a SERVICE industry ya know...? I NEVER felt that the front desk was unapproachable at all. OTHER THAN WHENEVER HE WAS THERE. It was INCREDIBLY awkward to even approach him and ask him for something basic without getting some condesending comment. That being said, I have been here for a week (monday to monday) and nothing has changed at all. My advice is to talk to ANY of the staff before the hostile closing shift takes over... They will treat you right I promise. MY ONLY OTHER GRIPE IS... There is only ONE elevator. ONE. Stairs suck, but I can promise you its 1000x faster than waiting for that dang elevator IN SHORT! I love this place... depending on who you get. but you almost should DEFINATELY shop around.
