Our vehicle was towed after it was totaled during an accident. The police had it towed while I was taken by ambulance to the hospital. They later gave me a card for Ken Webers. The lady that had helped us out at first to see the van and gather our things was kind. When we called to see if someone could remove our plates for us before the insurance company retrieved it they were less than helpful. My husband had to leave work to come remove the plates himself. Then when he got there (even though I said my husband would be coming) they said his name wasn't on their paperwork so really he shouldn't be allowed in, but then they let him anyways. Either follow your rules or don't say anything at all. Had they just removed our plates for us and we could have picked them up later in the day on our way home from work there would be no issue and I would have rated them 5 stars. They said the reason they won't is because they used to, but were left with too many plates people wouldn't pick up. Can't you just throw them away!?!? I promised up and down one of us would come and get them since we need them for a new vehicle we have to purchase and yet they refused. The customer service is lacking!
