My male Pekingese dog Ming developed an ulcer in each of his eyes. My local Veterinary seemed it necessary he see an eye specialist for animals.
I wasn't aware that the specialty existed, but am sure glad it does.
My Vet was correct in her diagnoses and treatment all along, we just hadn't given it enough time, and she thought she saw something else in his one eye, which was, an optical illusion...funny huh?
At any rate, I learned a lot from Dr. Gunderson who treated Ming at the Eye Care for Animals and his ulcers are now gone. He is left with some scar tissue on his eyes which slightly impairs his vision, but it actually turned brown rather than staying white as it was, so aesthetically his eyes are good as new.
Thanks Eye Care for Animals.
