World Buffet

Food was either awful or bland. Weird combinations. Doughnuts and crab? Service fair. Sushi bland and basically no selection other than California roll. No hibachi chef present. Food with little flavor. Salmon dry and tasteless. Don't waste time or money

I went here one year ago and I really enjoyed it. There was a nice fresh variety of food everything was hot and clean. I was seated quickly and politely and generally it was a very good atmosphere. Things have changed drastically since last year. I went here on a Sunday afternoon when service should be good and the food should be turned over quickly. There was a lot of food that was dry and not refreshed. The hot and sour soup was beat up and no individual component was larger than a thumbnail. The rice was nearly empty and dry and the rice Serving Spoon was crusted with rice in a dry Bowl. They were out of chopsticks. A Chinese restaurant was out of chopsticks. The lamps over the tables were pretty but they had color-changing LEDs in them that were Constantly changing rapidly and was quite distracting. The waitress serving my area of the restaurant was squeezing water out of a bucket to clean tables with in plain view of the dining tables. Frankly I found this to be Disgusting. I have a great deal of patience for restaurants and give them credit for being the best at what they do. To see this restaurants go so far downhill and one year's time was very sad. there is another, smaller Chinese buffet in Janesville that will be getting the rest of my business.
