Whitnall Park

Whitnall park is a large scale beautiful area with ponds/lakes, hiking trails, a small waterfall, and lots of wild life with many picnic areas and a few playgrounds. Great place to bring the family for an outdoor day or to celebrate a party outside. I wouldn't recommend any other Park area in Milwaukee. I have many good memories of this park. There's also sledding hills in the winter, an archery range, a golf course and the whitnall park botanical gardens. Many events are hosted here including live music outdoors and tours within the gardens. Definitely a place where you can make a day or weekend doing all the things that it has to offer.
