Washington Place Apartments

2015 The on site management is pretty good. Lynn is very good at communicating with you if she is not busy with the new leaser season that happens periodically through the school year. Overall the place is very nice. The apartments are cozy and they provide most of the furniture in the units. You get a choice as to what size bed you want in your room. You also get a dresser for each bed in a room and one night stand per room. You unfortunately do not get a desk but that is not too big of an issue. The living room is furnished with a TV stand (No TV, even though we were told we the unit would have one when we signed the lease), two couches, a coffee table, and two end tables. The kitchen is a decent size. Good enough for two people to cook simultaneously without too much of an issue. The freezer has an ice maker which is convenient. My ONLY ISSUE with this apartment complex is the fact that the internet is unbearably slow (5 Mbps at the MAX). Almost too slow for me to do any homework with a decent amount of efficiency. This includes posting to discussion boards using UW's system and watching videos that are required for classes. I have had to go onto campus in order to finish homework on several occasions. If the internet speed was higher then I would have given Washington Place Apartments 5 stars. If internet is not that big of an issue to you, then I highly recommend this apartment complex. If you use internet even moderately, then you will have to get used to being disappointed with the connection.
