I've worked for a similar company, and with it, came some training, and it does not seem the case with Visiting Angels, despite what their website claims. My Grandmother uses this office for three-hour care shifts. She's called the office numerous times requesting a schedule of which caregiver will be providing services each day, as she does not like strangers in her home, and would like to be prepared. This never happened. She's been sent numerous women who have no clue how to clean a home. One had brought her own harsh cleaner and left it there... my Grandmother mistook it for lotion and got a rash. Most recently, on several visits, one helper immediately uses her microwave to heat a large bowl of pasta to eat... on company time during a three-hour shift. Another has used the in-home patient logbook to voice a personal opinion... This behavior is really disheartening... to the point of switching to another company. Very unprofessional.
