Clean restrooms and a nice rustic setting. Attended the quilt auction and enjoyed it immensely.

Beware, one other person said this place was a cult and cited a few other issues and they are correct. Your child will be STRIPPED of their rights. I mean that word in a literal sense. They will not be allowed to use an indoor restroom or even be allowed to use restrooms at their time of choosing. Upon waking in the morning, the children are forced to sing before being allowed to use the bathroom. If a child wants to contact their parent, they are berated and belittled. The phone is about half a mile from the lodging and children are simply not allowed to phone home. Your child will be forcibly returned to the camp if they attempt to walk to the main lodge. If you love your child, do not send them to this place, take them on a vacation of your own choosing. Take your children camping for a week, you will save money or spend the same amount and you will have a great family bonding experience. Instead of what could happen to your child at this camp. It is seriously a bad place. I only came here to see if this place was still open, it clearly is and I felt the need to post this review detailing MY experience at this camp. Take time to decide whether this is the environment you want you child to be in. I recall this being a final defining moment in my final realisation that Christianity was a lie and organised religion is a scam of epic proportions. If you want to keep your child sheltered, don't send them here, their eyes may be opened by how crappy other humans actually are. But on the flipside, if you don't care about your child, send them here, it's only like 400 for a week. What's the worst that could happen? Wisconsin is filled with state parks, you can rent a rv for the week, drive 2 hours, camp for a week, and still spend less than if you sent 2 kids here. Now the kickapoo valley reserve on the other hand... Great location for kids, a good wholesome environment without Jesus being crammed down throats. The Madison zoo is another recommended location for children in which you can rest assured that their safety will not be jeopardized. The children's museum in lacrosse is a very similar environment when it comes to children interactions. Your child can mingle for the day and doesn't have to be trapped with strangers for a week.
