Steinmetz Real Estate Group is by far the most unprofessional and disorganized company I have ever dealt with. They misplaced my $500 earnest money check and forced me to go back to my bank to get a check copy. When I got to the bank the manager told me that they had deposited the check two days ago! They also placed the realtor lock box on the hydraulic door closer on the storm door, which didn't allow the door to close completely. It was hammered by the wind for several months, destroying the hinges and door jam. I informed Bonnie about her misplacement of the lock box and the damage it caused, but she refused to take responsibility and would not cover the damages. Stay away from this company if at all possible. Hopefully they do not have the listing for the house you are purchasing!
