This is the worst real estate company in Milwaukee. Some of their Caucasian laborer employees harass and threaten tenants that they don't like. Some of their workers also spread malicious gossip about tenants they don't like. One of their employees got his friend to slash my bike tire parked in front of the building and then this guy walked by my window and taunted me and said "good luck getting to work on time", the perpetrator said he was friends with a Shoreline employee. I had to pay to get my bike tire replaced at a bike shop and it was really annoying that now I had to park my bike far away from the property to avoid further vandalism. The perpetrator also threatened to break into my apartment! I complained to management and they were mostly very unhelpful and even threatened me. On one occasion I caught a employee rummaging through tenants discarded trash (recycling) in the dumpster and he made a comment about something I just threw out. So weird! What kind of people do this? This company hires some very sketchy and dangerous employees although some of their workers are alright. One of their workers threatened me and tried to bully, and intimidate me into leaving. After I moved out a couple of their employees visited my new residence to intimidate me and threaten me again and one of them paid me a visit to my job as well and tried to intimidate me. Renting from this company was a frightening and scary experience. This is a company that does not put the customer first. They would rather take the word of a mischievous employee, over a legitimate complaint from a tenant, that's a pretty dumb business model to follow. This is a dangerous company to rent from because they tolerate unprofessional and underhanded criminal behavior from some of their Caucasian employees. If you know what's good for you, stay away from shoreline real estate because they are a dreadful company to rent from. This company has a couple of brutish mafia like employees who will literally come after you and harass and threaten you if they don't like you. Positives: The first few years at shoreline was okay, the building manager kept the place safe. When they changed building managers the place became very lax on security and it was no longer a safe place to live. The building became a lot more sketchy after they changed building managers. It became apparent that non tenants were coming and going in and around the building who had no business being there. Also one of their employees allowed a very sketchy troublemaker into the building who was his friend who had harassed me and slashed my bike tire. If you want to avoid the trouble just rent from someone else! Some of their employees are okay, however they have some bad apples that they really need to get rid of! I spent a good amount of time cleaning up the apartment before I left and they still took away a good chunk of my security deposit away. Bullying & threatening a tenant into trying to scare them to move out is highly immoral and illegal. If you have a serious issue at shoreline don't bother reaching out to management because they will most likely do nothing for you (based on my experience). In my opinion Shoreline is a very unsafe and sketchy place to rent from. I did not deserve to be treated the way they treated me. Some of their workers who are hot heads just need to learn how to cool down a little bit.
