If I could give them a lower rating than one star I would. They did a rubber roof replacement for a friend of mine and they took advantage of her from the start of the job. The old roof was ponding in the center of the roof, and they made no effort or suggestion to add tapered insulation to get the water to run off the roof. They placed the new rubber roof right over the old built up asphalt roof that was under the old rubber roof. They messed up the flashing on an adjacent dormer roof which causes any amount of snow build up to enter that wall now and leak down into the laundry room ceiling. When she complained about it numerous times, the owner of the company told her she didn't know anything about roofing, and that she was just going to have to go up on the new rubber roof and shovel it off by hand when it snowed! My friend is 58 years old, and she is a very small woman with some health problems. Her ex husband owns a construction company and was a roofing expert for a previous company he worked for, so she had him check it out. He found many problems including loose siding on the dormer, inproper flashing on the dormer, improper attachment and flashing all around the perimmiter of the roof and the same ponding issue as before. They even removed the flashing over the gutters and did not replace it so water now leaks behind the gutters onto the fascia board. They had no response other that the roof is just fine and that she should continue shoveling it off!
