I had such high hopes for this place as an addition to the downtown Hudson food scene, but it did not leave a good first impression. My wife and I went during happy hour on a Wednesday and had no trouble getting a table. However, it took forever before our waitress came to our table (and not until after a manager first asked us if anyone had helped us). Chips and salsa are free during HH, and our waitress asked us if we wanted some (we did). Unfortunately, we waited forever for our chips and salsa, which arrived at the same time as our meal — even though just about every other table had chips and salsa brought to their table, including people who hadn't even ordered their food yet. Part of my order was incorrect, and the waitress didn't seem too concerned when I mentioned that. (Another employee who brought our food out did correct it, however, when I mentioned it to him.) The food itself was just OK. A bit overpriced, in my opinion. I know the restaurant hasn't been open long, so I'm hopeful they can get things straightened out. But I wasn't wowed by my first visit.
