Kris Borley

Approximately 3 years ago I was in the process of being pushed out of my bar business; very stressful time. I called for the assistance of Tom to make sure all loose ends were covered. After several email exchanges between myself, Tom and Amys attourney, I finally signed what seemed to be a legit purchase agreement. About 8 monhs later I went to purchase a house and found out I was still attached to the business credit card. This card had a $5,000 balance when I signed off and its now over $8,000. I immediately closed the account. I went thru a few months of battles with the underwriters to remove my name from the account, to no avail. Like I stated earlier, it was a very stressful situation and I'd think that my lawyer would think to tell me that the business credit card needs to be paid before I sign off on the business. It was an LLC , I may have been naïve how the whole thing worked but I can't imagine this was toms first time dealing with a business dissolution. To this day I have to wait every month to see if shes making the payment. I tried to reach out to tom regarding this and his answer to me was "kris, theres no way to relieve you of a third party agreement." He's wrong and he should have known to insist amy pay it off or get it transferred to her name only. This hangs over my head monthly and will continue for years as shes only making minimum payments. $5,700 to go. From a very frustrated customer!!!!
