This is a typical Milwaukee Supper Club and that is why we come here- to get our Supper Club fix. We will come no more. Two stars is for the pleasant waitress trainee we had. I ordered the special, a peppered encrusted 12oz steak. When I began to cut my first bite my knife met gristle. At first I thought the steak had not been trimmed and tried to trim the gristle. I had almost half the "steak" piled to the side. My choice was to return it or eat what was left. Since my wife was already eating her flounder, which she liked, I decided to try and eat what was left. I did call the waitress over and showed her the pile of gristle. The manager eventually came over and I told her this was unacceptable to serve a piece of meat like this and then try to charge $36.95. The best she would do was 25% off and a free glass of house Zinfandel or a dessert which we did not want.
There are other supper clubs in Milwaukee we will take our business there, not here.
