The Botanical Gardens were nice. Even though not much was blooming since it was the end of March, I still liked walking around, especially since the outside portion is completely free. The gardens are decently sized and I imagine in the summer it's just gorgeous. Plenty of benches to sit and enjoy the view. The Thai pavilion was really cool to see. The greenhouse was neat, take your time walking around because there are so many plants! I love how they had birds in there, that was a great surprise. And it only cost $2 to get in, so reasonable. They do close at 4, which is a bit early, but it worked out fine for us.

First off it's a beautiful garden made that way by a great staff and many volunteers. Unfortunately, there is no map indicating where plants are located so doing research on a plant you're interested in can be very cumbersome. Sometimes there's a volunteer in the library that can help but otherwise you're on your own. When you are able to get assistance with a general idea of where specific plants are you still have a hard time. Plant labels are sparse and hang tags on the plants are difficult to locate.
