I went there early this morning before work, in a hurry, because I had gotten a coupon in the ValPak that said you could get $1 of free gas. Normally I pay at the pump, but because I had the coupon I pumped, and then went in to pay. When I walked in, the clerk said "oh, you can't use the coupon if you're paying with a credit card, because we can't split it." Whatever that means! Can't you just take a dollar off my total? I am bright enough to know that you need to read coupons and look for the fine print, but I saw nothing on the coupon that said "not valid when paying with credit card." Maybe I missed it. Either way, I was so annoyed. I know it was just a dollar, but because I was in a hurry, and intentionally didn't pay at the pump because of the stupid coupon that ended up not even working, the whole situation really rubbed me the wrong way.
