Menards

December 2017 we purchased a Frigidaire top mounted freezer/refrigerator and a stove from Menard's. Little did we know that once the appliances are delivered, you will have difficulty getting service because we live in Eagle River and there is no one near that can service the products within a 50 mile radius.The store washes their hands regarding service and tells you it is now up to the manufacturer to provide service. I called the manufacturer and they said that I would have to wait at least three business days for them to locate a service technician. The problem is that my freezer fluctuates in temperature and the ice cream is melting and when I spoke with warranty service they said there is nothing they can or will do about any food that is lost because of the freezer malfunction. I must wait until they contact me to set up service. If you are thinking of buying any appliances at Menard's, think again and go to one of the other big box stores. This was my last appliance purchase from Menard's. The appliances are only three months old, I even purchased an extended warranty, but what good is that if I can't get a reasonable response while the appliances are under original warranty. I should have done a better job of checking into the after purchase service. Shame on me!

Absolutely TERRIBLE experience. Spent over $1000 dollars there just for the guy that carried our flooring out, to chuck it in our trailer and destroy it and for personal phone calls to be more important then your customer. We are redoing our house but it won’t be supplies from there.
