This review is specifically for La Cave bar.
This is a relatively new (June 2016) addition to the Le Chateau restaurant. Probably the most forward-thinking and adventurous cocktail bar in La Crosse. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. To get there take the narrow winding staircase down from the Le Chateau restaurant. I had one of their “Smoked Cocktails” - Fumé Old Fashioned. Their Old Fashioned should NEVER be confused with the traditional “Wisconsin” Old Fashioned [brandy (???) with 7-Up or Sour mix.]
Note: there is very little signage for the La Cave or Le Chateau on the building. If you’re not familiar with the area you will want to know the street address.
