My biggest concern in getting a puppy was that the dog must be comfortable around our 7 grandchildren, all under the age of 10. We are thoroughly enjoying the companionship of a calm, sweet, obedient and loving one-year old Lab, and he was definitely worth the trip. As required, I spent a day at the Koven training facility so I could learn what my puppy had been taught and this was extremely helpful. The level of training of these dogs is absolutely incredible. My vet was initially skeptical of the need to travel so far for a new puppy, but after meeting him, giving him a thorough examination, and observing his temperament and obedience skills, she also agreed that he was worth the trip and the price. She was also very impressed with the top quality and well-documented medical care he had received, including neutering. I give the highest grade possible to Koven Dog Training and Jean and Steve.
