Justin Trails Resort

I’m sure this is a beautiful place to stay in the summer, but our experience here was not great. My husband and I were looking for a nice getaway for a few days after our wedding. We arrived to a cabin that they don’t give you a key for so you can’t lock it if you leave. There was no door on the bathroom, just a curtain so as you can imagine it’s super romantic to listen to each other use the bathroom. The advertised whirlpool looked brand new, however there was only enough hot water to fill it about a third of the way. We decided to put our feet in at least to warm up(heat in the cabin also didn’t work very well) and when we turned the jets on it kept setting the smoke alarm off! Finally decided to just settle in and watch a movie, and that’s when we started to see all the mice. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve grown up going camping and up north so I’m not afraid of mice and I know when it’s cold they try and come inside, but when I’m paying $230 a night I would expect to not have to watch and listen to dozens of mice scurry all over the place I’m paying to stay in. Just was not impressed with this place and left early after only a night feeling very disappointed.
