James Madison Park

Busy park when it’s nice out but lots of green space, good playground for kids, has a cute beach for swimming. Has bathrooms and lots of picnic tables. A nice sidewalk along the water. Also has basketball courts and plenty of benches for sitting and relaxing.

Beautiful park. Great place to come with a group if you are looking for a place full of energy. The only drawback is the constant stream of traffic nearby, which some may consider a plus for the white noise. Hard to dislike a park with such a great view.
