Holiday Inn & Suites Wausau-Rothschild

We recently stayed in this hotel with our hockey team and it was made known from the moment we checked in, that the manager did not want us there. Her comment as some of the parents were leaving the hotel was "I can't wait until these kids are out of here". Mind you this is a hockey team of 12 year olds who don't run the halls, but rather stay in rooms and play with electronics, maybe spend a little time in the pool. She also very rudely accused a parent of bringing a beer into the restaurant... a beer he had just purchased from the restaurant bar ...while she was in there. Our entire weekend she made it no secret that we were not welcomed there, even though they were fully aware we were making the reservations for a hockey team. There was a fire alarm on Friday night and again she was rude to guests. No one in the hotel was prepared to handle the situation. Rooms were clean and the rest of the staff was fine, however, I would never stay here again or recommend this hotel to anyone, solely based on the attitude we received from the manager the entire weekend.

This Holliday Inn is always clean.the employees are knowledge and friendly. Roomy rooms. My 2nd time staying here, been pleasant and hassle free stay both timres. Would consider going back next time i am in the area.
