I would honestly give no stars if possible. They will arrest you upon suspicion not actual facts, intimidate you, pick you up and leave you stranded. I have been waiting at the sheriffs station now going on 5 hours with no way to my car which is 10 miles away. Not being from this town, clearly I have no other way of getting around. They will give you the numbers to multiple taxi services, which are all out of order or don’t serve past a certain time, and only on certain days. I was taken into custody from a traffic stop, just one person, one girl, on her way home, NOT speeding at all and left to find my own way to my car/home paying out of pocket with money that needs to pay other things, like rent, food, or the ticket I was given, not $80 for a taxi ride from Iowa, or a motel stay. I have class at 8 am tomorrow and work, and still 3 hours away from home. Literally everyone was rude in one way or another. I was told that they have priorities and that I wasn’t forgotten about. How does that sound? I guess my life and the important things I have going on a well are not priority. They will make you feel so small, like nothing. Definitely contacting a lawyer.
