The cabin we stayed at was Fishermans point. It was a nightmare. Filthy dirty, full of bugs and spiderwebs, hole in the ceiling patched with a magazine, and a horrible smell coming from the bathroom that was either sewage, natural gas, or a dead animal. I opened the closet on the bathroom to inspect where the small was coming from and there was an actual hole to the outside plainly on the back wall. As big as a saucer. The flooring was coming up all over, furniture was torn and junky and nothing was clean. I found a USED feminine napkin on the wall of a bedroom. We also found pistachio shells all over floor of living room left from previous renter. It's like nobody even checked to see the condition before a new renter arrived. We had to hang dryer sheets in the bathroom just to be able to tolerate running in to use the facilities. I didn't use the shower it was too gross in the bathroom. I feel sad for my inlaws that wasted their one week of vacation and money on a place that looked much more well maintained on the website. The pics must be 10 years old or older. It was such a disappointment. The outside was chipped and paint was all coming off, windows were rotten, a piece of styrofoam was actually on the exterior of the house. There were extension cords all over outside the front door and around the house on the grass: The view was beautiful but hard to see with a ramshackle old sailboat literally blocking entire view. Dock was floating and held together by two bungee cords. Very unstable to walk on. I don't know what else to say. I couldn't wait to get out of there. Maybe ok for a group of fisherman with no standards. Was a nightmare.
