On two separate occasions I have attempted to use Earl's Awning Co for projects and both times was rebuffed by the people working there. The first time I asked to have panels of blackout material sewn together to make a large outdoor movie screen. The guy working told me he didn't like the material and unless I used the canvas he had (which was off white and not conducive to watching movies on) he wouldn't do it. The second time I asked to have the corners on my light filtering sunshade reinforced and he told me the product was junk and he wasn't going to waste his time on it. The material came from a supplier of sunshade material for landscape nurseries and is used all over the US, so I guess we're all wrong then. Needless to say, I wasn't asking for a lifetime guarantee from these guys, just a little help. Instead I received a condescending attitude and a complete unwillingness to even try and help. As far as I'm concerned, there is no need to try a third attempt at Earl's.
They have done an awesome job repairing some canvas tents for me
