Dog Tired All Cage & Confinement Free Care

I wouldn't take my pet rock to this establishment. The owner of this establishment has absolutely no business running a dog day care. She has no clue how to take care of a dog nor does she care. It's sad because this was a wonderful day care at one time. Most of her employees are not dog people, just simply someone she can hire cheap. In addition, posting videos of a dog on Facebook that appears to be "enjoying himself" (and that's a kind way of putting it) is absolutely disgusting and not humorous at all. If I was the owner of that dog, I would be livid! Those of you that love this place, more power to you. I gave it one star, but only because I had to rate it something to post my comments.

Oh, Dog Tired! The time has come to review my favorite doggie daycare location in the world, where my dachshund with extreme separation anxiety barks to get in the door every weekday morning and runs right to the employees to give them kisses. I never expected my dog to be happy to leave me, but every morning that she arrives here, she is! After trying Central Bark off of Capitol for a while and realizing that the time she spent in the cage there really seemed to freak her out (she's super cage averse), I searched around and found Dog Tired. I am not exaggerating when I say that having my dog taken care of here has vastly improved both her quality of life and my quality of life. I have such peace of mind knowing that Todd, Jennifer, and Susan are looking after her, understand her need as a weird old dog to sleep all day, and take the time to sit with her and spend time with her on the regular. (She really craves human contact.) I always thought of a doggie daycare as a convenience and never as a game-changer. Dog Tired has been a game changer for me, and leaving Dog Tired is one huge reason why I'm so sad to be moving out of Milwaukee. I love the people here as much as my dog seems to - they're super friendly and hilarious! - and I love the half day option that they offer, too. As a side note: Jennifer groomed my pup (I selected the full bath option) and did an excellent job. Thank you for everything, Dog Tired! I love you and we'll miss you!
