Was hoping I had found a reputable dealer. Had service done and was reviewing the bill, and surprise, an additional 15% for "shop supplies"! No mention of this before service was done. When I inquired, my agent didn't know. He asked someone else, and I was told for miscellaneous supplies. I was told "every Dahl service customer get this". Like that would make me feel better. I felt ripped off.
Went in to get my oil changed as part of my powertrain warranty. Around 12:30 Thursday November 2nd. When I got there I was told I should get my spark plugs and transmission fluid changed as well. I said sure. I was not told those two, transmission fluid and the spark plugs, ARE NOT covered by my warranty and that I would most likely have to pay the difference. I sat waiting 3 hours for my car to get done, when I was told it should take about 2 and a half at the most. I had to work at 4pm, they didn't care. I ask around 3:30pm if my car is done. Said it was just finished and told me that the transmission fluid and spark plugs I had to pay for. I told them I had Zurich insurance and they said Zurich doesn't cover transmission fluid and spark plugs. I was already late for work and needed to get out of their and paid it even though I didn't have the money and even though I felt they were wrong. I should of thrown a fit but I just wanted to leave. I looked into what powertrain warranty covers and it says " engine, transmission, and drive axle are covered under the warranty." I shouldn't have been charged for the transmission fluidand it shouldn't have taken them 3 hours.
