Conejito's Place

So many people have told me that this place is really good! I mean they raved about it! Well let me tell you, either they don't have any taste buds or they were drunk off their a** that it didn't matter what they ate! And they probably didnt get drunk off their margaritas because those tasted like old dirty water! This place was dingy and half of the stools were broken. I had to wrap my feet around the base of the stool so I wouldn't fall off! Yeah it's cheap but that's no reason to feed people garbage food! Not to mention the rude waitstaff! We split the bill. One person paid cash & the other paid with a card. They couldn't even do simple math that they overcharged the card & had to refund us some money! They seemed irritated when we told them this...it was their mistake! I would rather eat gum scraped off of the road than eat here ever again! Absolute disappointment. Too bad I can't give it a NEGATIVE 5 STARS! Don't waste your time!

They get 2 stars because staff was friendly and my margarita was good. Everything else was highly disappointing. I have had so many people recommend this place, I left very confuse as to what all the hype was about. First off I love authentic Mexican food, unfortunately you will not get that here. I have never ever seen a Mexican restaurant that does not serve tacos on a corn tortilla. I mean its not even an option. terrible. I ordered beef tacos. Picture taco bell tacos, where they give you a tiny amount of meat, and cut that amount into a third. There was like half a teaspoon of actual meat in my taco, and they added potatoes to make it look fuller. The salsa tasted like it had come out of the freezer . My son had the enchiladas, they were stiff . The only thing that saved this place was everything was so cheap, otherwise I would have left upset. total disappointment.
