On Sunday I called James from a yard sign and we made an appointment for the following Tuesday night at 5:30. I drove 30 minutes out of my way to be at the property on time. At 5:45 I called him because he hadn't shown up yet. He didn’t pick up the call so I left a message.
He returned my called at 6:50 and sent a text with excuses as to why he didn’t show up and that he was still interested in bidding for the job.
He was driving when I initially called, he wrote the address on a piece of paper and lost it, he lost my number…
I wonder who has a phone that doesn’t have a call log.
I'm pretty sure that he completely forgot about the appointment. Had he admitted that when he called back and asked for another appointment, I probably would have understood and agreed to reschedule.
The reason why I am submitting an unfavorable review is because after a few text messages back and forth the next day discussing his excuses, he blamed me.
He said and I quote “Good luck to you” “If you remember I tried to meet you that day my guy just reminded me.”
What an ass. This is not the guy for your job.
