The Wild Life

I would say its a quiet get away, but Nature is not silent when its crawling with life! This used to be my favorite place to go fishing, or even just doing some exploration with the vinyl boat. I have caught some nice size Northern Pike here. Sunscreen or other protective measures are a must on even cloudy days. This is a rather shallow body of water and abundant in plants. Lots of cat tails, marsh grasses, lily pads, and aquatic weeds.

Andrew Derousseau

One of my favorite places to unwind and escape city life. With it being just outside of Madison, tucked in the quiet neighborhood on the Northside, it's a perfect retreat from the chaos that is humanity. Nice manicured paths that wind up a down through hills, prairies, marshes, ponds and tranquil forests. You run into all sorts of wildlife, so don't be surprised if you run into a family of geese or deer grazing in the woods or the occasional muskrat playfully running through the reeds.
