1. Never showed up: They gave me two days they might show up - didn't show up either day. Then said I'm the second job the third day. Didn't show up. They said they will come the fourth day. Didn't show up. I'm slow on the uptake but at that point I told them not to bother, I'll call someone more interested in taking my money. 2. Overcharged. They quoted me $800 for the part and labor. They insisted it would take two guys to be able to move the large oven (I can can slide it by myself on a smooth wood floor) and two hours to replace the thermostat. 3. For Viking repairs use Lakeview Appliance Service in Bensenville, IL. They had the part in stock and came and fixed the oven two days before the given appointment since the oven needed to be fixed ASAP prior to house sale/closing. One guy was able to move the oven despite what Ace told me. Even with the trip charge from Illinois, using Lakeview cost me $300 less than Ace's quote.
