I signed a contract with Accent Decks on May 5th. The Contract stated that they would be building my Deck in July. July came and went. I made several phone calls to them. It took them days to respond to my messages. When they would finally respond they treated me like I was being annoying by calling to try to find out why they were not at my house building my deck. They finally showed up in the middle of August to "prep" the site. It took them over two weeks to finish digging 8 holes (they would only come for a couple of hours and not every day). They finally started building the first week in September. They only sent 1 guy to build it, thus it took 2+ weeks. When they were "finished" they had not fulfilled all of the details I was expecting. There are also some flaws in the construction. In areas where the boards are supposed to be mitered to form a nice corner, there are gaps between the boards. I did not expect this from a professional. Very disappointed in their service.
